when I bought this item, I asked the seller not to put the receipt inside the box and they sent me assuring me that they do not include the receipt in their packages. What happened is that they included the receipt and therfore I payed an extra 100$ for the customs in my country.

I used it very little so far but i already know it no way as good as my sony mini dv recorder. which is about 4-5 years older and uses mini tapes
I was going to get rid of it when i got the new one but it dont have the
pic quality as the old one. Probley made in china.

I expected a better picture quality than this! The camera is really cool. 60x zoom is amazing. Features all work well. Was able to easily transfer files to and from my computer, or to watch on TV. My only complaint is the picture quality. I’m returning this for something different.

The videos are pretty decent videos, ease of use is good. I recently took this camera on vacation as both my video and still camera. The videos are decent, but the stills are just unacceptably poor. I mean very poor.
Faces washed out, resolution very poor, totally unacceptable. I expect much better from Sony.
If not for the very poor stills, this would have gotten a better review, probably 4 stars. The stills are just sooooo poor.
