I have a 3Gs iphone, and only the volume control (up/down) works.
Not play/pause, neither FF/RW.
So expensive for a device that control only the volume.
Really Disappointed.

I bought these earphones to use with my iPod touch for when I’m in the gym, I can do all types of exercise without worrying about getting tangled up. The sound is really good. I very happy!

These headphones have great sound, so no complaints there. The wire length seems perfect for me (6′0″), but I keep the unit clipped to my jacket or shirt, not my pants pocket. I do like the fact that it has a pairing memory of up to 8 devices, so I can switch between computer & phone without having to re-pair.
There are a few things you should probably know if you’re considering these:
- The advertised range (30ft) can be affected by a lot of factors; if I keep the receiver inside my coat and put my phone inside my pants pocket, the sound can skip a lot. The range is a lot better when the devices aren’t being covered by anything, obviously.
- The receiver end is actually about an inch deep, which isn’t obvious from the picture.
- You can’t use the headphones while charging, which is a huge loss as far as I’m concerned. At least the battery life is very good out of the box, and charging only takes about 2 1/2 hours.

This is a handy little gadget. The battery life is quite good on a full charge. I agree with the other reviewers who said the clip was weak. Certain songs sound phenomenal, other songs sound just okay. Buy the little IO Gear USB bluetooth dongle if you don’t already have one; Amazon will suggest it when you purchase.

I bought these to use while I jog. I tried clipping the controller to the bottom of my shirt, then my sleeve, but it fell off almost immediately when I started jogging. The spring in the clip isn’t strong enought to hold in onto clothes upsidedown. The bouncing just makes it slip off under the force of gravity. I have an armband, so I just clipped it to my armband (facing upwards) and that seems to work well.
I know what you are thinking, “If you clip it to your armband, what is the point of using bluetooth? Just use regular earphones.” Well, I am using this with my blackberry 8300 and it is tricky to use the keypad to navigate music while jogging. So, the controls are awesome for me. Also, the earbuds fit better than any that I have ever used. They block outside noise pretty well too. The sound quality is very good (as I would expect from Sony).
I used them to make calls a couple times, and the person on the other end said that they could hear me just fine. So, all in all, these are really good.
