I bought this to go with the Sony DCR-SR47 Hard Disk Drive Handycam® camcorder and it works great. I have burned about 30 copies so far and have had no problems. Been great for making DVD’s of my son’s youth football games and I have made copies for many parents. All of them have said the dvd’s work fine.
Takes about 12 minutes to burn 30 minutes of video. Overall this product has been great.

I have found the product to be all that the literature said it would be.I have used it together with my Sony DCR-SR67 camera to copy both media from my memory stick as well as video stored on my 80GB hard drive….Once you follow the instructions manual you will get good copies every time. I am glad that I purchased it through amazon.com because I felt that I saved some money versus other options.

It is a bad luck drive because when it writes it skips every 17 sec and I bought it brand New in the box for some money and I was cheated with the amount I paid for it. When I can’t even return it after opening it.

I had one good review and one bad review and had a hard time deciding if I wanted to order this or not. But, I did and it took me a little bit to learn how to work it and it is not a real fast burner, but it worked wonderful and got my discs burned and played them and then deleted my memory so now have lots of room for doing more videos. I had real good luck with this.
