If you think that with a 70 minutes MD, you can have 700 mbts of a normal cd would have, forguet it. It says that it suports mp3s, not that it reads mp3s, so, it will lower the quality of the sound.
Audio Cd: 320 kbts
Below 192 kbts, you will notice the diference
In this MD you can transfer at 132 kbts, 66 kbts, or no compression.
So, if you want to keep the quality of your sound, you have a regular MD instead of one that reads REAL mp3s.
Sincerily, i’m totally frustated! If i knew this at the start, i would never buy this piece of crap…
And for Sony, keep on doing dancing robots instead!

I was wondering if this product has good bass to the sound. Alos, what is that item right above the head phones. Not the car jack. How long does it take to get music from computer to disk?

Hello all
I Purchased this profuct the type 5 minidisc from sony and had a bad expereince with it. I had it for a bout a month when it started to not read discs. ONe day i was just walking with it and it syoped working i was lucky it was in the return period. Other than that i really like these things they are small and compact. The mini disc can hold up to 5 CDs. All and all it is okay because of my first problem.

I got this as a gift from my parents for Christmas and loved it. Unfortunately, I look at too much pr0n and it no longer works on my computer.
