This Christmas we decided to buy our daughter a laptop, and so began the inevitable grind of going around all the shops looking at all the different models, comparing prices, specifications etc I don’t know about you but after a while they all began to look alike and all this talk of GB and processing power leave my head spinning. Then we called into a Sony shop. The Sony VAIO range of computers are considered very good quality (although I suspect you are paying for the name) but they seemed out of our price range until we discovered the new NS series. Designed as a “budget” or level entry range it seemed ideal and the specifications were as good as many we had looked at. We had to wait until mid January before they became available and when we heard they were doing a pink model, well that clinched it! Afer owning this for nearly a month then I can safely say if you want a powerful spec at a value for money price, choose this laptop. It holds an Intel Pentium Processor T3400, which easily powers all your office and multimedia apps. Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium deals with multimedia applications, as well as a media centre, which helps you organise all your photos, movies and music. The impressive 3GB Memory means that even memory intensive tasks can run smoothly and without hitch. It has a built in webcam which delivers very good quality pictures (and there’s nio hassle with screen mounted cameras & installation) A 15. 4″ screen delivers clear, bright picture quality. Thanks to 4 USB connections, you can hook up your external devices like mp3 player, printer, digital camera and more for easy data transfer. It also holds a memory stick slot for downloading data from your memory stick. It also has a DVD Rewriter Drive, which lets you burn information to a wide variety of DVD discs. This means that you can always keep long-lasting copies of all your most important data, meaning you never have to lose those precious digital photographs again. I recently purchased this laptop and am absolutely thrilled with it! I spent ages looking at reviews etc. for different laptops and ended up choosing the vaio for it’s reliability and appeal to the eye. It runs really quickly and has fantastic graphics – plays games like the Sims2 like a treat! I was a bit unsure about the pink colour before buying as was worried it could look tacky, but in actual fact it’s a very subtle soft pink and looks really classy – it sits much nicer in my house than a big black or silver computer, and I wouldn’t be embarrassed about taking it to work!! Would definitely recommend!!

This product deserves recognition. I am pleasantly surprised on how great this laptop is. I am a webdesigner/programmer and I run a lot of programs on my previous machine,which usually slows it down, but after installing programs such as Photoshop Applications and Dreamweaver on my new Vaio, and even if i am running multiple programs this laptop seems to handle it well. And with 3Gb RAM its really a great buy. The stylish design and rounded corners are very nice. It’s also very light,and the battery life is great lasts for hours without compromising the brightness of the screen. It does not look tacky at all considering its pink! They keyboard looks a little like what you would find on a Mac. Its NOT just for teenage girls. . . suitable for grown ups like me too!!! Find my full review with pics on littlebrownbag[dot]net

sony vaio excellent
