bought it for HTPC in miniITX format (in Intel 945 Atom MB). quite well for it’s money, but if you’re not going to play heavy games, 512MB of video memory is too much, 256MB is well enough.
Also, I have been very limited in space between the card itself and power supply unit. Then I’ve replaced radiator with small fan; whereas, the socket for fan power was found.
at the end, i had what I wanted, thus satisfied.

Lets first start off with what system I have. I have this HP DC5100 small form factor computer with Pentium 4 3 GHz HT processor, 3 GB ram, and 40 GIG Hardrive. I recently installed Windows Vista Ultimate which runs good on it except for the on board video which would not let me run the Windows Aero and some other programs like Windows DVD Maker. I figured I would upgrade the video card for when my daughters would visit so they would have a decent computer to use.
The video card installed with no problems as long as you follow the instructions like disabling the on board video first in BIOS and then install the card and then install the new drivers in safe mode. The card does come with small profile kit so I cannot understand why Amazon has a small profile kit that it tells you to buy with it. Well, I waisted my money on that! Well, not to much because the kits was only $6.95 Well all and all the card works good with what I need. I would recommend the card if all you are looking for is just running Windows Vista. I am not sure how it works for gaming because I am not in to that
Note: I ran the base score again and it raised my score from a 1.9 to a 2.6 which was a shock. I thought it would of been higher because the only thing I was lacking was a video card from what it told me. Windows Aero 2.6 and 3D business and gaming graphics is 3.9

I bought this a week ago and have been nothing but impressed with its performance. This card runs Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4, Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, and The Witcher smoothly on medium settings (not to mention older games like KOTOR 2 which I can now run at Maximum settings!). If you have an ancient PC like mine (3 year old Celeron D 2.8 MHz) whose motherboard only offers standard PCI slots, then purchase this card. I recently upgraded to this card from the 6200 256 MB OC card, and the difference is immediately, and pleasantly, noticed. All applications run faster, smoother and, although I am sure this is only my imagination, appear more vibrant. This card is an improvement over the 6200 which, although workable if tweaked correctly, had crashing issues with some applications. I can’t say enough good things about this card. Excellent product! Excellent value!
