The AS3S is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25″ holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet.
After reviewing our competition we realized that most shelving units need to be mounted directly into a wall stud. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. This is still the most secure option however, after significant research weve found that using the correct toggle bolts can allow you to mount your shelving unit wherever you see fit. UNIVERSAL 32-55″ PLASMA/LCD SINGLE ARM TV/DISPLAY MOUNT
This mount features 28lbs of heavy gauge cold-rolled steel for a stable and secure mount. The mount collapses to less than 4″, extends out to 26″, tilts forward/downward 0-25 degrees and swivels 180 degrees. Additionally, the attachment plate at the end of the arm rotates like the face of a clock up to 7 degrees ensuring a 100% level display.
The TV arm brackets mount separately to the TV allowing for “lift and lock” installation. The wall plate includes a round 2 3/8″ and a square 4 3/4″ opening for cable management. The 4 3/4″ opening can fit a standard US electrical outlet which is 4 3/8″ tall. The outer slots on the wall plate are 16″ center to center and 1. 5″ wide for standard US studs. This mount is made from 10 lbs of 100% steel, holds up to 65 LBS, and includes a TV plate which fits hole patterns up to 200×200mm (approximately 8×8). It is our recommended model for displays in the 23-37 size range. Most LCD arm mounts are made from 2-3lbs of molded composite aluminum material, hold up to 33 LBS, and fit hole patterns of up to 100×100mm (approximately 4×4). Many TVs/Displays in the 23-37 size range use the larger 100×200mm or 200×200mm hole patterns. If you are unsure as to the hole pattern for your display, this mount fits all VESA hole patterns up to VESA 200. Additionally, regardless of the size of your display or hole pattern, if you would simply like the additional stability and security of a heavier gauge mount, we would recommend this model.
