These discs are amoung the worst I have used. I get an error from 3 to 4 out of five. The ones that do record play fine.

I bought these TDKs when my sonys ran out. They were way cheaper than the sonys and i’ve used tdk’s cd-rs which worked great. But tdk’s dvdrs really suck. I tried burning an ISO on the first disc and i got an error. Then i burned another disc which completed but my ps2 couldn’t read it. Then i burned a movie and it wouldn’t play in my dvd player. Then i tried to burn another one and my ps2 didn’t read it. I can hear my burner struggling to burn these discs. The discs also seem alot different than my sonys. The TDKs seem alot thinner and cheaper. I guess you get what you pay for. But i still wasted $25, which i am really mad about. Now i have 96 dvdrs just sitting there, they might as well go in the trash. Useless. It is better to spend the extra money for a good brand, at least you won’t be like me and spend $25 for absolutely nothing.

TDK portrays themselves as manufacturer of quality media. However, the DVD media they sell are inferior quality media manufactured by another company. This can only be seen using special software that displays the media codes.
Why pay TDK premium prices for the same disks that are sold as cheap discount disks under different brand names?
If you want reliable quality media, TDK is not the brand to trust. Try something else, like Verbatim. Stay away from TDK!

Digital breakup for the most part has been very minimal. AUDIO storage has been no problem. Overall I give this product a 3 star rating in overall performance.
