I bought this thing because Sirius recomended it to boost reception, which it didnt make nearly any difference…..however, if you need an extension cord, this works great

What can you say about a piece of wire? The first one sent to me didn’t work at all…it was defective. They quickly sent me a new one that has to date worked fine.

Th cable arrived in less than a week. Installed it myself. Has worked well, even through heavy rainstorms. Another reviewer complained about the connection leaking. So far no problems, but could always put silicone sealant on if there are any problems.

I had just consolidated some audio equipment for a friend, and in the process had moved their Sirius radio receiver away from where the existing 20′ antenna cable was plenty enough to reach a signal patch. If you need to fish it through a wall, one of the end connectors is the same size as the cable (no more than a quarter inch) which allows that to be done easily. The other end has a huge plastic… thing, which I do believe is to help accommodate the rubber cap which protects the fragile male end of the coaxial cable. But if you’re buying this, you’re doing so to extend the reach of your Sirius antenna another 50′, and that’s exactly what this does.

I needed this to extend the worthless stock home antennae that came with SIRIUS’s home antennae so I could put it outdoor and mount it on the roof of my house. This cable provided ample slack to reach and has been giving me full reception with no problems. Only downside is the cord is very very thick and can become troublesome when mounting.
