That is the first time that has ever happened. I could not register the game without that number. I looked everywhere, several times, and it was no where to be found...which leads me to believe that this was not a legitimate product. I just preordered Sims 2 Seasons and it wanted me to go back and review all that I've not already reviewed. If you don't already have this...take my advice and buy it.
