First let me tell you I’m an IT guy with more than 15 years of experience. First since this crap is “Universal” it won’t provide power to the laptop. Second, it has two monitor connectors (1 DVI 1 VGA) but you cannot connect both just one at the time, so in order to have dual monitors you MUST connect your second monitor to your laptop. Third the resolution on those ports is horrible ! on monitors 22″+ max resolution on any of this port can’t display images appropriately. The last driver on the toshiba webpage for Vista 64 do not configure all ports on the unit. Since I undock and dock the laptop everyday I end up plug in and unplug in 4 cables (since you have to bridge the sound). You can still use it, but me was not suitable.

Allows you to add a second monitor with out have to worry if your computer has a enough graphics power to run it.

Great Product. Very simple to set-up and use. Takes up minimal space on my desk and can be used with any PC via USB.

received the Dynadock and found it had limited capability. For half the cost purchased a docking station with wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and dual speaker system. Was very disappointed with this offering from Toshiba as the laptops I own made by Toshiba are excellent.

I was very excited to try this docking system. I researched all that were available and this Toshiba got the best reviews. However, I could not get a clean install after trying numerous times. I had an afternoon of my time invested in trying to get something so simple to work. Needless to say I packed it up, sent it back and ordered my new desktop later that day.
