This little disk is perfect to back up my MacBook Pro using Time Machine. It is not the fastest HD available, but its small size makes it a winner. It comes with a custom made pouch and the USB powered cable. My MacBook Pro does not need the extra USB power and works great with a single or standard USB cable.
I use it mainly for backups, and I don’t know how it will work on a high demand basis or a severe write and erase basis like a photographer or video shooter.
It fits in the $125 dlls or lower range for a 500gb disk so it is not expensive at all.
Maybe after one year of use I can tell more about it.
