Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3L6AKVSYHYBCW This is a great performing enclosure! I’ve had it now for 7 months and it has been working flawlessly! In the video I show you how I put mines together and it working connected to my computer.
I highly recommend this enclosure!

I own several of these now, they’re great little cases. Takes about 5 minutes to install a drive in one and button up the case. The lack of a fan does not appear to be a problem, I’ve got drives from 500G to 1.5TB in these and the SMART output from the drives shows them running nice and cool.
The only complaint I have with them, and it’s minor, is that the Blue LED used for the power/activity light is very bright. Put one of these cases in a dark room and you can walk around the room without bumping into things just from the light output of that one LED. I wouldn’t recommend you use this case on a computer in the bedroom unless you really need a nightlight.

I was having computer issues and needed a SATA hard drive enclosure – after looking through quite a few enclosures I chose this one due to the reviews posted & the price was right. This is very easy to use, plug in your drive and start transfering information, my only issues with this enclosure is that it runs extremely hot, and the power supply has a very short cord. If the cord was longer it would have gotten a 5 star rating.

From a 500GB Samsung to 1TB WD and 1.5TB Seagate, they get extremely hot in this thing after 2-3 hours (75-80 degree ambient temperature).
+2 stars because it is stylish, well-built, and works as promised.
-3 stars because running the drives in this thing inside a fridge is not feasible. Also, it seems overpriced, and certainly needs better heat dissipation design (small fan, air flow channels, something…).

Got this after a competing product failed. Twice.
The enclosure is solidly built, and worked like a charm on first go. The bright activity LED might annoy some people, but I don’t mind it. Kudos.
