The wolfgang puck reversable grill is the worst for barbaque, it spatters 360 degrees up to 3 feet, unless you use on spacious counter with newspapers underneath you are in for a major cleanuip, also the grease trap does not work as advertising, I wish I could return product

I was very disappointed in this product. The main problem I had was that it smoked up my entire house when I cooked bacon. I removed the bacon, and the smoke was so bad, I had to open all the doors and windows so it wouldn’t set the fire alarm off. I was using the temp listed in the manual for bacon. I lowered the temp and the smoke still occurred.
One of the reasons I bought this griddle/grill was because it was dishwasher safe as I hate washing dishes. I was very disappointed when I discovered that it was to long to fit in the dishwasher and I had to wash it by hand.
It is ok for making some things such as grilled cheese sandwiches, but the overall hassle/annoyance factor isn’t worth it. I have used my griddle 2 times now, and I am ready to get rid of it. I can get the same results with a good frying pan and the clean up is a LOT easier.

This griddle is one of the best ones I’ve owned. I gave it only 4 stars because of the grease drain and catcher. The holes that allow the grease to drain through have a lip on one side of the holes for whatever reason so some of the grease collects there making it a pain to clean out…also, the grease catcher under the griddle is essentially a big metal dish that is the same size as the griddle itself…I’ve learned to NOT try and drain it into a container to throw out because it is awkward to pour off the grease so what I end up having to do is wait until the grease hardens and scrape it out with my plastic scraper that I use for my pizza stone.
Other than the above complaint, I find it easy to use, the temp seems the same on the entire surface…haven’t found any hotspots. It is rather large so it is really doesn’t fit well in a cabinet so I store it on top of the fridge which works out fine. I also like that I can immerse the whole griddle into the water…it lifts off the frame, which holds the grease catcher. The frame or whatever you want to call it is also safe to put into the sink as well. I really like that the electrical component that plugs into the griddle has a little lever to help you unplug it easily from the griddle.
I highly recommend this griddle…haven’t found one that comes close.

I’ve had this grill for a couple of weeks and have used it for steaks and lamb chops. Everything has cooked evenly and tasted great. Cleanup is a breeze. Residues come off with hot water, soap and a paper towel. Highly recommend it!!

I bought this griddle/grill combo for my husband and we’re very happy with the purchase. I bought this because we had a cheap griddle we bought at a superstore but ended up tossing it because the nonstick coating had come off within a couple of years. I didn’t want to buy another one that I’d just end up throwing out again.
We’ve had this griddle for about six months now and it seems to be holding up great. My husband says it heats up fast and stays hot – perfect for pancakes and bacon and such. It cleans easily and the nonstick coating looks good – it seems to be not as thin as the cheaper types. I hadn’t planned on using the grill part of it, but happened to use it recently for chicken breast and was really pleased with the results. It cooked in about 20 minutes, tasted good, and the grill was easily cleaned with a washcloth. We haven’t had any problems with the tray not catching drips or anything.
It is a little bulky to store, but we put it sideways in a cabinet. The tray slips out of the stand a little, since it is removable, but it rests up against the side of the cabinet and is fine that way. To me, this was worth the money, and we hope it will last a long time!
