I updated my rating. I was able to get everything working, but not until I went and found a different video driver. I also updated another drive, but don not remember which one. For some reason the game still tells me I do not have enough RAM, but it’s working so I won’t worry about it anymore. We only tried the exercises a few times so not much for a review.
I cannot get the included video camera to work and the install says I do not meet minimum system requirements. When I click on the game the screen flickers and then goes black. Closing with task managers is the only way out.
My system
Windows 7, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series
6 GB RAM

This is a great fitness game. It’s a lot more interesting than following boring workout videos, and Jenny McCarthy is bubbly and adorable. But, the specifications for the PC version are too complicated. I have an up-to-date computer (a Sony VAIO), and the game was not compatible with my graphics card. I recommend just going with the Wii version.

Be Very sure your laptop has either ATI Radeon Card, Nvidia GeForce Card or Nvidia Quadrocard as well as a Shader Model 3.0 or higher. I have a Dell pc and its video card is Mobile IntelR 965 Express Chipset Family. I am not a Gamer – just middle aged wife looking for something to help lose some weight, get in shape, and not interrupt my hubby while he’s watching tv. I knew I had a video card but had no idea this was going to take a heavy duty video card. Even after installing, I figured I’d just update the video card – but when I called Dell, they told me my videocard is a permanent attachment on my motherboard, and the only way to upgrade is to totally rebuild the entire pc. UGH – what a disappointment! So, I’m sending it back, and will purchase WII Fit Plus. Hubby will just have to share the tv

BEWARE OF SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS! This game is not compatible with many basic household computers or business laptops. It requires a higher end video card, the type that is found in computers designed for gamers. I tried to install the game on a high end Sony Viao laptop and on a Lenovo desktop without any luck – both times I got an error informing me that my computers did not meet system requirements. Eventually, I had to purchase a new video card for the Lenovo to get it to work. That was a nightmare because it was a “low profile” computer and most of the video cards that were compatible with the game did not physically fit in the computer. Even when I found a “low profile” video card, it was still too wide. Eventually I found one on the internet. At least the folks who answer the help line for the game were actually helpful and spoke clear English.
Once you get it working the camera is very cool, but does have problems seeing your arms as another reviewer mentioned.

Honestly I was so excited to get this game and it was such a let down, maybe the Wii version is different but most of the time, the “trainer” couldn’t see my arms. I changed rooms, lighting, clothing and got the same results everytime. Also the game locked up a couple of times and lost all info that I had ever exercised. The trainer would ask which area I wanted to target, no matter which body part I chose, the routine was always the same.
Great idea, needs alot more work!
